About
The Alt Protein Project at Imperial College is passionate about alternative proteins and our role in building a sustainable food future. Prior to becoming the Alt Protein Project at Imperial College in 2023, our co-founders had already begun laying the groundwork for an alternative protein ecosystem at our university by establishing the Alternative Protein Society. This initial community grew to over 100+ members, indicating a clear need for more alternative protein-dedicated opportunities!
Our aim is to provide a platform for students, researchers, and companies working in this field to engage with other like-minded individuals and raise awareness for alternative proteins within the university. Ultimately, we would like to create a graduate talent pipeline by connecting enthusiastic students with the relevant opportunities and resources they need to successfully break into the industry.
