To USDA in response to their Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on cultivated meat labeling

GFI submitted comments in response to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Inspection Service Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) regarding cultivated meat labeling. GFI advocates for a clear, practical, and flexible regulatory pathway to market for these products and recommends that USDA-FSIS create a regulatory framework that treats cultivated products and conventional products fairly and equally.
